DalgreenAgro Private Limited is an integrated 120-acre farm in Katol, Vidarbha, engaged in teak plantation, Gir cow dairy, and premium bilona ghee production. We are a growing agri-enterprise with a strong focus on sustainable practices, traceability, and building a recognised farm brand. The founding team manages operations remotely and is building a strong on-ground team in Katol.

Role Overview

We are looking for a hands-on Farm Operations Manager to oversee day-to-day activities across our plantation and dairy operations at Katol. This is a field-first role - the right candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, managing labour, coordinating vendors, and maintaining operational discipline without constant supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across teak plantation, dairy unit, and any emerging agro-processing activities

• Plan and supervise seasonal farm activities - weeding, fertilisation, irrigation, plantation maintenance - with a team and variable daily labour

• Manage muster rolls, daily labour attendance, and wage disbursal records accurately

• Coordinate procurement of inputs (herbicides, fertilisers, feed, dairy supplies) and maintain vendor relationships locally

• Monitor crop health, teak growth cycles, and flag issues early to the Director

• Oversee dairy operations: milk collection sessions, feed management, herd health coordination with local vet

• Send daily/weekly operations updates via WhatsApp or Google Forms as required

• Support setup and monitoring of any new agro-industrial activities planned at the site (oil mill, processing unit)

• Ensure compliance with basic labour laws applicable to the farm

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of experience in farm operations, plantation management, or agro-industrial supervision

• Hands-on experience managing daily agricultural labour and field activities

• Comfortable with remote reporting - able to document activities and communicate updates clearly via phone/WhatsApp

• Basic understanding of plantation crops or dairy operations (both is a strong plus)

• Fluent in Marathi (required) and Hindi (required); basic English for written reporting is a plus

Preferred Background

• Agriculture diploma or B.Sc. Agriculture

• Prior experience at an integrated farm, agri-enterprise, or FPO

• Familiarity with plantation crops (teak, bamboo, fruit orchards) or dairy farm management
