Job Description
Marut is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding our distribution network. With a focus on strategic planning, team management, and performance monitoring, you will play a crucial role in enhancing our market presence and ensuring the success of our sales operations.
Key Responsibilities

Arrange sales visits with prospective clients and stakeholders

Conduct product demonstrations and technical presentations

Maintain accurate sales and performance records

Participate in trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events

Negotiate sales contracts and design customized packages

Achieve sales targets and monitor team KPIs

Plan and execute daily/monthly sales activities for Sales Officers

Monitor lead generation, customer meetings, follow-ups, and closures
-
Develop new dealers and distributors while managing existing networks

Oversee general administration and team management
-
Expand customer base using new sales strategies and market insights

Track and review daily sales calls, follow-ups, and conversions
Candidate Profile
Knowledge and Skill Required
-
Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing dealer and distributor networks.

Experience in institutional drone sales is a plus, but not required.

Strong understanding of the region and surrounding areas where dealers and customers for Marut Agri Drones can be identified.

Ability to work independently as well as a team player.

Strong communication and presentation skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Strong communication, managerial, analytical, and leadership skills.
Qualifications

BE / B-Tech and/or MBA with Marketing / PG Diploma in Sales and Marketing.

5–8 years of experience, with a minimum of 3 years working as an Area Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager.

Proactive and result-oriented.

Able to communicate extremely well and relate to all levels in the organization.

Team player.

Preferred industries: Channel development, Agri tractors, farm machinery.
