Job Role: Flower Farm Manager – Floriculture / Commercial Flower Production

Responsibilities-

Plan, manage and supervise day-to-day flower farm operations.

Develop and implement crop production plans based on seasonal requirements and market demand.

Monitor flower crops for growth, plant health, pest infestation and diseases.

Manage planting, pruning, training, pinching and other crop-management activities.

Supervise irrigation and fertigation schedules and ensure efficient water and nutrient management.

Monitor soil/media health and plant nutrition requirements.

Implement integrated pest and disease management practices.

Manage greenhouse, polyhouse or protected cultivation operations where applicable.

Supervise farm workers and allocate daily tasks according to production requirements.

Work with management to achieve flower quality, productivity and profitability targets.

Education-

B.Sc. / M.Sc. in Horticulture/Floriculture or a related discipline will be an advantage.

Diploma in Horticulture/Agriculture with relevant experience may also be considered.

Skills:

2–7 years of experience in floriculture, flower farming, horticulture or protected cultivation.

Experience managing commercial flower production will be preferred.

Candidates with experience in rose, chrysanthemum, gerbera, carnation or other commercial flower crops will be preferred.

Strong knowledge of crop production and farm management practices.

Experience supervising farm workers and managing agricultural operations.

Willingness to work in farm/greenhouse environments.
