We are seeking an experienced Mushroom Technical Farming Expert to manage and optimize end-to-end mushroom cultivation operations. The role involves technical supervision of production, quality control, disease management, yield optimization, and training of farm staff to ensure consistent and profitable mushroom production.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and supervise mushroom cultivation processes (Button, Oyster, Milky, Shiitake, or other varieties).

• Manage substrate preparation, spawning, incubation, cropping, and harvesting operations.

• Monitor and control environmental parameters such as temperature, humidity, ventilation, and CO₂ levels.

• Identify, prevent, and manage diseases, pests, and contamination issues.

• Ensure quality standards, hygiene, and bio-security protocols are strictly followed.

• Optimize yield, productivity, and cost efficiency through best farming practices.

• Maintain daily production records, crop cycles, and performance reports.

• Train and guide farm workers and supervisors on technical practices and safety.

• Coordinate with procurement for raw materials, spawn, and equipment.

• Stay updated with latest mushroom farming technologies, innovations, and government schemes.

• Support post-harvest handling, storage, and basic processing (if applicable).

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Agriculture, Horticulture, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related field.

• 2–4 years of hands-on experience in commercial mushroom farming (large or mid-scale).

• Strong technical knowledge of composting, climate control systems, and disease management.

• Experience with controlled environment farming is preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage farm operations.
