About DalgreenAgro

DalgreenAgro Private Limited is an integrated 120-acre farm in Katol, Vidarbha, with active operations in teak plantation and Gir cow dairy/ghee production. We are in the process of establishing a small-scale agro-industrial unit at our Katol site — including oil extraction and agro-processing — to add value to locally sourced agricultural produce. We are looking for experienced hands to help us set up and run this unit from the ground up.

Role Overview

We are hiring an Agro-Processing Operator / Oil Mill Supervisor to set up, operate, and maintain our small-scale oil extraction and agro-processing facility at Katol. This is a hands-on role requiring direct machine operation, raw material handling, quality checks, and daily reporting. The candidate will report to the Director remotely and will be the primary operator responsible for the unit's output and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain oil expeller / cold-press / extraction machinery for groundnut, soybean, or other oil seeds as per production plan

• Receive, inspect, and manage raw material (oilseed) inventory — storage, moisture checks, and vendor coordination

• Supervise oil extraction process end-to-end: feeding, pressing, filtering, packaging, and storage of finished oil

• Maintain production logs — daily input quantity, oil yield, rejection/wastage, machine downtime

• Perform basic preventive maintenance on machinery; escalate technical issues promptly

• Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards at the processing unit

• Coordinate with local farmers / suppliers for regular oilseed procurement

• Support introduction of additional processing lines (e.g., dal milling, spice processing) as the unit grows

• Send daily production reports via WhatsApp or Google Forms to the Director

What We're Looking For

• 3–6 years of hands-on experience operating an oil mill, expeller unit, or agro-processing facility

• Working knowledge of oil extraction machinery (expeller press, filter press, oil storage) — able to operate independently without constant supervision

• Experience managing oilseed raw materials and understanding of basic yield calculations

• Familiarity with food-grade hygiene and quality practices in a processing environment

• Comfortable with remote reporting — able to document output and flag issues via phone/WhatsApp

• Fluent in Marathi (required) and Hindi (required)

Preferred Background

• Diploma in food technology, mechanical, or related trade

• Prior experience in a small to mid-scale oil mill, FPO-linked processing unit, or agri MSME

• Knowledge of locally grown oilseeds - soybean, groundnut, safflower and their processing characteristics

• Awareness of FSSAI licensing requirements and basic food safety norms is a plus
