Job Description
Marut is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead its sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building strong client relationships, achieving sales targets, and expanding the distribution network. With a focus on strategic planning, team management, and performance monitoring, this role plays a crucial part in enhancing Marut’s market presence and ensuring the success of sales operations.
Candidate Profile
Key Responsibilities

Arrange sales visits with prospective clients

Conduct product demonstrations
-
Maintain proper sales and performance records
-
Participate in trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events
-
Negotiate sales contracts and design sales packages
-
Achieve assigned sales targets
-
Plan daily and monthly sales activities for Sales Officers
-
Monitor sales progress daily (lead generation, customer meetings, closures)
-
Develop new distribution networks by appointing dealers and distributors
-
Manage and strengthen existing dealer and distributor networks
-
Handle general administration and team management
-
Expand the customer base by adopting new sales strategies
-
Support and drive the sales team by monitoring calls and conversion ratios on a daily basis
Knowledge and Skills Required

Excellent sales skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
-
Experience in managing dealer and distributor networks
-
Experience in institutional drone sales is an advantage (not mandatory)
-
Strong understanding of the assigned region and surrounding areas
-
Ability to work independently as well as in a team

Strong communication and presentation skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field

Strong communication, managerial, analytical, and leadership skills
Qualifications

BE / B.Tech and/or MBA in Marketing / PG Diploma in Sales & Marketing

5–8 years of total experience
-
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Area Sales Manager or Territory Sales Manager

Proactive and result-oriented mindset
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Strong team player

Preferred industry exposure: Channel Development, Agri Tractors, Farm Machinery
