Job Role: Agri Marketing & Sales Executive

Responsibilities-
Promote and sell company products to farmers, dealers, and retailers across the assigned territory
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, dealers, distributors across Karnataka
Achieve monthly/seasonal sales targets and report progress to management
Conduct farmer meetings, field demonstrations, and crop awareness campaigns to drive product adoption
Identify new business opportunities, dealers, and market segments within the territory
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends; share insights with the marketing team
Coordinate with logistics/supply team to ensure timely product delivery to dealers/farmers
Collect market feedback on product performance and relay it to the R&D/product team
Manage dealer/distributor accounts including order processing, credit follow-up, and payment collection
Candidate Profile
Education:
B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Horticulture / MBA (Agribusiness/Marketing) preferred
Diploma in Agriculture with strong sales aptitude also considered
1–5 years of experience in agri-input sales, agrochemical marketing, agri-commodity trading, or AgTech sales
Strong understanding of Karnataka's agricultural belts — including cropping patterns across North Karnataka (cotton, sugarcane), South Karnataka (ragi, horticulture), and coastal Karnataka (areca, spices)
Skills:
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with farming communities
Negotiation and persuasive selling skills
Target-driven mindset with ability to work independently in the field
Good communication skills (Kannada essential; Hindi and English preferred)
