Dairy Farm Assistant Job in Bhopal

Job Role:

The Dairy Farm Assistant will support day-to-day dairy farm operations, including cattle care, feeding, milking assistance, hygiene, health monitoring, and general farm maintenance. The candidate will work closely with the farm manager and veterinary team to maintain proper herd health and efficient farm operations.

Responsibilities-

Assist with daily feeding and watering of dairy cattle.

Monitor cattle for signs of illness, injury, heat, or abnormal behavior.

Maintain clean and hygienic cattle sheds, feeding areas, and milking areas.

Assist with vaccination, deworming, and routine veterinary activities.

Maintain basic records related to cattle health, feeding, breeding, and milk production.

Assist with calf care and management.

Ensure proper handling and movement of cattle within the farm.

Support feed preparation and maintain adequate feed and water availability.

Assist in maintaining farm equipment, tools, and facilities.

Report cattle health issues or operational problems to the farm supervisor.

Education: 

B.Sc. Agriculture / B.Sc. Animal Husbandry / Diploma in Dairy Technology / Diploma in Animal Husbandry / Diploma in Agriculture / ITI or relevant livestock and dairy farming qualification. Freshers with relevant qualifications can also apply.

Skills:

Interest in dairy farming and livestock management.

Basic understanding of cattle care and dairy farm operations.

Physically fit and comfortable working in a farm environment.

Willingness to work flexible shifts, including early mornings.

Ability to handle cattle safely and responsibly.

Previous dairy farm experience will be an advantage.
