Agriculture Machinery Sales Manager
Job Description

Responsibilities:
Drive sales of agricultural machinery including tractors, harvesters, irrigation systems, and related equipment across assigned territories.
Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets.
Build and maintain strong relationships with farmers, dealers, distributors, and agri-cooperatives.
Conduct product demonstrations and field visits to educate customers on machinery features and benefits.
Identify new business opportunities, emerging markets, and untapped customer segments.
Coordinate with the service and technical team to ensure post-sales support and customer satisfaction.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and competitor analysis for management review.
Participate in agricultural trade fairs, exhibitions, and farmer outreach programs.
Train and guide junior sales executives within the team.
Candidate Profile
Education: B.Sc. in Agriculture / B.E. in Agricultural Engineering / MBA in Sales & Marketing or related field
Skills:
Strong knowledge of farm machinery and equipment
Excellent field sales and negotiation skills
Customer relationship management
Territory and channel management
Technical product knowledge
Fluency in regional language (Marathi/Hindi) preferred
Willingness to travel extensively within the region
