We are a growing agricultural solutions and government-supplies company engaged in the supply and execution of agricultural and water-management products and projects. Our product portfolio includes water harvesting structures, agro-processing tarpaulins, pesticides, specialised agricultural pipes, HDPE geomembranes and other agricultural inputs and infrastructure solutions.
We work closely with government departments, dealers, contractors and farmers across Karnataka and are looking for an experienced professional to lead our business operations across Southern Karnataka.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Manager based in Bengaluru who will be responsible for managing and expanding our sales and business operations across Southern Karnataka.
The candidate will lead the regional sales team, develop new business opportunities, maintain relationships with government departments, institutional clients and channel partners, monitor ongoing projects, and drive achievement of regional sales targets.
The ideal candidate should have strong sales, business development and team-management skills, excellent communication abilities, good knowledge of MS Excel, and the ability to manage a regional sales operation independently.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, manage and motivate the sales team operating across Southern Karnataka.
• Develop and implement regional sales strategies to achieve monthly, quarterly and annual targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with government departments, institutions, contractors, dealers and other potential clients.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, institutional clients, contractors, distributors and channel partners.
• Identify upcoming business opportunities and provide regular market intelligence and updates to management.
• Manage the regional sales pipeline and ensure timely follow-up and conversion of leads.
• Monitor team performance, conduct regular reviews and provide guidance to sales executives.
• Set individual and team targets and ensure consistent achievement of sales objectives.
• Plan field visits and ensure adequate coverage of key markets and customers.
• Coordinate with operations and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and execution of projects/orders.
• Maintain accurate sales reports, customer databases, forecasts and MIS reports.
• Analyse sales data and regional performance using MS Excel and prepare management reports.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, market trends and customer requirements.
• Ensure timely collection of outstanding payments and coordinate with the accounts team when required.
• Travel extensively across Southern Karnataka for client meetings, government offices, project sites and team supervision.

Candidate Profile
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in any relevant discipline.
B.Tech, MBA or postgraduate qualification in Management, Sales, Marketing or a related field will be an added advantage.
Candidates with strong sales and managerial experience will be considered irrespective of their specific educational background.
Required Experience
• 3–5 years of professional experience in Sales, Business Development or Marketing.
• Prior experience in a managerial or team-handling role is preferred.
• Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Experience managing a sales team or regional/territory operations will be strongly preferred.
• Candidates should be comfortable with extensive field travel and managing operations across multiple locations.
Language Proficiency
Kannada – Reading and writing proficiency is mandatory.
Candidates should be able to communicate effectively in Kannada with customers, dealers, farmers, government officials and other stakeholders.
Knowledge of English and/or Hindi will be an added advantage.
